Hawley is a community that provides exceptional opportunities to raise a family. We have three young children who are getting an exceptional education and are engaged in many extra curricular activities. Hawley Public Schools is home to approximately 900 students in grades K-12. Recent new construction and remodeling of existing structures has placed our facilities as some of the best in the area. Great facilities, small class sizes and a variety of course offerings make us an excellent choice for your child’s educational setting.

Hawley High School offers a wide variety of academic courses. Students are able to enroll in vocational, technical, traditional and advanced courses. Hawley High School offers nearly 30 college level credits without leaving our building.

Hawley Elementary is home to approximately 450 students in K-6. Our Elementary was just awarded the Minnesota School of Excellence Award and will be planning a celebration of this award in the spring of 2007.

Small class sizes and a strong academic program are reasons our students perform well on state and standardized tests. Hawley Elementary has an excellent technology curriculum with students who have won state competitions for the past 6 years.
